Memorial Day Weekend and Disney's Animal Kingdom - Pandora Opening Day

What an amazing weekend we had. Memorial Day Weekend along with the opening of Disney's Animal Kingdom Pandora. So many sights and so much fun.
We stayed at the Tropical Palms RV Resort in Kissimmee which is just past Old Town USA. We were trying to go cheap on the RV site for the weekend so we booked a basic campsite which included water and electric only. It turned out to be the best decision. No we didn't have sewer hookup, but we did have a LARGE campsite. The higher priced campsites had pads, water, electric and sewer, but they were closer together and when you look out your window, you were looking in your neighbors. The site we had was huge and we loved it. Below are a few photos of the RV resort.

For our first night there, we met up with some friends that were staying next door to Old Town. We toured Old Town and got to check out all the rides, events and shopping. We planned on coming back the next night to actually do stuff, but we ended up with different plans.

The next morning, we got up at 5 am so we could be at the Animal Kingdom entrance by 6 am for a park opening at 8 am. We figured this place was going to be packed, which it was. Some people had arrived around 1 am to hold their place in line. Once we got in the park, it took us a couple of hours or so to get in to the land of Pandora. Then came the line for the ride Passage of Flight. Another hour or so to get on the ride. By the time we finished the first ride, there were massive lines to get in to the gift shops and restaurants. We decided to leave at that point and do the same thing again the next day to go on the other ride. Below are just a couple of photos from Pandora.
