This was not exactly in our plan on for prepping to go full time RV living, but when a deal comes up that allows you to take a step toward your final plan, you have to take it.
And yes, we bought the carriage before buying the horse. If you know me and have ready my other blog posts, you know I've been looking and researching RVs for a while. When this deal came up, I had to go and take a look at this coach even though I had nothing to pull it with. After checking it out, I made an offer that was accepted which was last week.
So the beginning of this week, I started searching for rental vehicles that could tow. I called many places and no one rented tow vehicles. Finally someone mentioned trying Enterprise Truck Rental which was the commercial side to Enterprise Car Rental. Wouldn't you know it, they had what I needed so I booked my reservation for a Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.7L.
If you need a tow vehicle for a day or so, Enterprise Truck Rental has them for about $97 per day.
Delivery day came and we headed up to Lazydays RV to meet with our service adviser and get our walk through done. The walk through is to explain to you how each item on the coach works and to test everything before leaving the dealer. Now comes the part that when we get Kurmit home, we get to empty out our living room of all the Amazon boxes of all the accessories I orders. Over the next few weeks, I will be setting Kurmit up with our own personal motif and getting it ready for his first adventure.
