SAUSAGE AND GRAVY STUFFED BISCUITS

He is another recipe I found online and created at home recently. This is not only for at home, but you can do this in your RV as well. I have to say, this was really, really good. It is about a 10-minute prep and 20 minute oven time.

Biscuits and gravy are a southern favorite and they were Elvis Presley’s favorite meal next to a good Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich.

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of Grands Biscuits

  • 1 pound of Ground Sausage

  • 2 Tbsp Flour

  • 1 cup Milk

  • Egg (for top wash/glaze)

Directions:

Cook sausage in a skillet, then add flour and cook on medium heat while stirring constantly.

Add milk and stir constantly over low heat until thickened (Do not put your spoon down. If your gravy clumps, you can’t undo it).

Then pop open your delicious Grands Biscuits and cut them in half.

Spoon your lovely sausage and milk gravy in the center of one half of your Grands cut biscuits and take the other half and seal the top.

Whisk up your egg and brush it on top of your sealed biscuits to glaze them.

Then bake in a 375-degree oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
