What an adventure this has been so far. We have looked at so many motor coaches trying to decide what we like, don't like, need and don't need. It seems like every other weekend we are out at another RV dealer checking out the new and used stock, and sometimes returning to view the same coaches again after seeing others.
This past week, I headed out to the 2017 Florida RV SuperShow by myself to take in a couple of seminars and browse some of the RV's on display. My wife and I had previously seen a 2015 Newmar Canyon Star 3913 40' that we loved, so I headed over to the Newmar section to check everything out. As it turns out, the 3913 model is no longer being built and there is nothing current that is close to it.
I did however find a Newmar Canyon Star 3921 40' gas coach that also had a garage which could be used for my office and to store all my photography gear. The garage area even had its own AC and exterior door which was perfect.

So on Saturday, I returned to the show with my wife this time. I took her to the coach I had found the previous day so she could check it out herself. This coach is now on our preferred list. A show price of only $190,900 with an additional markdown to $159,900 and it contained just about everything we wanted.
Afterwards, we started browsing the rest of the show and came across the Thor section. We started browsing them and then it happened. We walked in to a Thor Palazzo 33.2 34' diesel pusher and we felt at home. This coach doesn't have the office space, but it compensates with climate controlled basement storage and this basement section was large. Now we have found everything we wanted. A diesel pusher less than 36' with large storage, an amazing floorplan and a show price of only $149,900.
I can't wait to see what is at next years show. Only a 4 years to go. The countdown is on.
